V&A

On Friday we went to London to go to the V&A museum , here is some of my favourite pieces of work in the museum. One of my favourite rooms in the V&A was the renaissance gallery, i really like the statues because they are very dramatic and i think each one tells their own story.

While we was at the museum we was able to go into a room and see some original pieces of artwork and design, we saw a variety of things but this in my opinion was the best piece because i really like the scruffy collage look.

There wasn't much in the 2oth century gallery that i liked but i looked because it is one of the most popular exhibits for the 16-19 age range, one bit of work that i did like was this chair , i really like the way it is one bit of plastic and the way it flows and curves to make the chair.

File Types

.PSD - A PSD file is layered to easily modify the image file. It contains all the image sources for your web design template. To manage files of this type you need Adobe Photoshop software installed on your computer. You can do any kind of customization using Adobe Photoshop because this powerful tool allows you to change text, image colors, or add your own photos to your web design template and save the optimized image data for web. .Ai - Adobe Illustrator Artwork (AI) is a proprietary file format developed by Adobe Systems for representing single-page vector-based drawings in either the EPS or PDF formats. The .ai filename extension is used by Adobe Illustrator. .FLA - fla files contain source material for the Flash application. Flash authoring software can edit FLA files and compile them into .swf files. The Flash source file format is currently a binary file format based on the Microsoft compound file format.

JPG - In computing, JPEG is a commonly used method of lossy compression for photographic images. The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable trade off between storage size and image quality. JPEG typically achieves 10:1 compression with little perceptible loss in image quality. JPEG compression is used in a number of image file formats. JPEG/Exif is the most common image format used by digital cameras and other photographic image capture devices; along with JPEG/JFIF, it is the most common format for storing and transmitting photographic images on the World Wide Web. These format variations are often not distinguished, and are simply called JPEG.

WEB BASED FILES

.SWF - .swf files are completed, compiled and published files that cannot be edited with Adobe Flash. However, many '.swf decompilers' do exist. Attempting to import .swf files using Flash allows it to retrieve some assets from the .swf, but not all.

HTML
.HTML - hypertext markup language: a set of tags and rules (conforming to SGML) for using them in developing hypertext documents.
